Blue and white jar with floral print, the name "Cordelia" under a banner across the front, and a bronze lid. Blue and white porcelain is contrived using the color blue, usually from cobalt oxide, to create designs on shaped clean, white clay that is then covered in a layer of transparent glaze and baked in a kiln at high temperatures. This jar is 10 inches at its widest point and 14 inches in height. Despite some staining around the rim and inside it is in very good condition (see photos and condition notes for more detailed information).
